“Units of measure” is a directory of the units a product is sold in: piece, kilogram, meter, liter, etc. Used in product cards and in exports to marketplaces.
What you see
A table with the columns ID, Name (Piece, Pack, Meter…), Symbol (abbreviation: pcs, pack, m), OKEI (the standard unit code) and a Primary toggle. At the top are search and the + Create button; on the right of each row are edit and delete.
How it works
- Each unit has a full name, a short symbol and an OKEI code for correct exports.
- The Primary toggle marks the default unit for new products.
- When creating a product, the unit is chosen from the list — it drives how the “per piece / per kg” price is shown.
Why it matters
Correct units give clear prices to buyers and valid feeds for Google Merchant and marketplaces. Without them products may be rejected on export.
