Languages

"Languages" is the list of locales available on the storefront. Here you enable the languages the site will work in and decide which one is the primary.

What you see

The "Languages" table with columns: ID, Name (uk) (for example "Ukrainian", "Russian"), Locale (a code such as uk, ru), Order, an On/Off toggle, a Primary toggle, Changed (date) and Actions (edit/delete). Above the table are the "+ Create" button, "Change order", search, a column picker and a rows-per-page selector. A results counter sits at the bottom.

How it works

Click "+ Create" to add a language, or the pencil to edit an existing one. The "On/Off" toggle enables the language on the site, and the "Primary" toggle makes it the default language (with no prefix in the address). "Change order" sets the sequence of the language switcher on the storefront.

Why it matters

Languages control which locales your store speaks. Enable a language and a visitor can switch the site to it; the primary language defines what the buyer sees by default. This is the foundation for translations and multilingual SEO.
