«TurboSMS» connects an SMS and Viber messaging service for customer notifications: order statuses, confirmation codes, delivery information. Setup comes down to entering an access key and sender names.
What you see
At the top there is the current service «Balance» with a refresh button next to it. Below are three fields: «HTTP API key» (the access key from your TurboSMS account), «SMS sender» (the signature the customer sees in the SMS, for example the store name) and «Viber sender» (the sender name for Viber messages). At the bottom there is a «Save» button. If the key is invalid, the service shows a balance retrieval error.
How it works
Paste the HTTP API key from your TurboSMS account, enter the registered sender names and click «Save». After that the store sends SMS and Viber messages automatically based on order events. The balance is topped up on the TurboSMS side.
Why it matters
SMS messages are almost always read, and right away. Order-status notifications and confirmation codes build trust, reduce the number of «forgotten» orders and lighten the load on support.
