«Pindex service» is a connection to the external Pindex service for notifications and mailings to customers: Telegram messages, translations and SMS. On this screen you see the current connection status and the service balance.
What you see
The «Profile» card shows your store domain and the status of individual features with colored badges: «Telegram channel», «Translation service» and «SMS service» — each in the Enabled or Disabled state. Next to it is a «Balance» block with the amount of funds on the service account. At the bottom there are two buttons: «Information» (detailed connection data) and «API DOC» (the service technical documentation).
How it works
Once Pindex is connected, the store sends messages to customers through the enabled channels. The administrator watches the balance so mailings do not stop and turns on the needed features. Topping up the balance is done on the Pindex side.
Why it matters
Automatic notifications keep the customer informed about the order status, build trust and reduce the number of support requests. This works towards repeat sales and the store reputation.
